Our mission

Protect, prepare, educate and preserve

Our mission is to champion environmental protection across Lesotho by supporting the conservation and responsible management of natural resources; strengthening the capacity of rural and urban communities to understand and respond to climate change; advancing practical, eco-friendly habits; and creating meaningful opportunities for citizens, especially young people, to participate in shaping a sustainable future.

We pursue this mission through community education, collaborative initiatives, environmental advocacy and programmes that translate ecological principles into locally relevant action. We seek to protect biodiversity, reduce preventable pollution and waste, promote climate adaptation and encourage decisions that respect the interdependence of healthy ecosystems and human wellbeing.
